Meet the Green Falcons – Saudi Arabia National Team
The Saudi Arabia national football team, nicknamed the "Green Falcons (Al-Saqr Al-Akhdar)", is one of Asia's traditional powers. They have won the Gulf Cup three times, the West Asian Football Federation Championship three times, and lifted the AFC Asian Cup three times (1984, 1988, 1996).
At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Saudi Arabia pulled off one of the greatest upsets in football history – beating the eventual champions Argentina 2–1 in the group stage. Saudi goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais made 5 saves in that match and was hailed as the "Guardian of the Green Falcons".
Now the Green Falcons are ready for the 2026 World Cup (USA, Canada, Mexico). Led by stars like Salem Al-Dawsari and Firas Al-Buraikan, Saudi Arabia will chase glory again wearing their iconic green kits. This is their 7th World Cup appearance.
Wearing the Saudi Arabia jersey is not just about supporting a team – it's about honoring the never‑give‑up spirit that inspires fans around the world. Whether you're cheering from the stands or watching at home, this jersey belongs to a true football believer.
